Kawasaki ZZR1400 2012
Kawasaki ZZR1400 renewed, but not revolutionary. Changes little under the skin aesthetics but a new engine reviews the performance the already exaggerated sports toured than the excessive price. A new headlight cluster, along with a few details of the hulls, distinguishes it from the version now on the market, and a new multi-function instrumentation managing the new electronic board.

The aluminum monocoque frame has the same geometry, but it’s all the elasticity new structure, now more rigid, and sports, which coupled with the new longer swingarm and durable. The mechanism has been completely revised, with a 4mm longer stroke that increases capacity up to 1441cc. With new valves and compression ratio, the power obtained is 200 hp (210 with the air box pressure) to 10,000 g / min, while torque reaches a value of 162.5 Nm at 7,500 r / min, have 265 pounds (268 for the staged version).
The electronics are completely new, with the KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) standard set of 3 parameters. The engine has two selectable maps with a completely free and a second that unleashed only 75% of the potential. Also new is the slipper clutch and instrumentation with a large LCD screen to manage all settings.
